Lisa Loder
Lisa is a Registered Massage Therapist in Guelph. She is a long time volunteer with Hospice Wellington. A lifelong resident of Guelph, Lisa resides in the neighbourhood of her youth, maintaining connections to the larger community through the donation of her services and time to assist the fundraising challenges of issues close to her heart. Lisa has an established career in the health care field. She began her career as a Personal Support Care Worker (PSW) and has worked with physically-disabled and developmentally-challenged adults, as well as seniors in retirement and nursing home settings. Her appreciation of the regenerative abilities of the human body led her into a specialization of hands-on therapies. Through the study of Massage Therapy, Lisa has come to understand the influential power of touch in the human healing process. She is a graduate of Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, and has taken additional training in Pregnancy Massage, Aromatherapy Massage, and Hot Stone Massage. She holds a Can-Fit-Pro certificate, which allows her to assist clients with exercise issues. As Lisa became more aware of the energetic component of the human experience, she included complementary therapies to her practice. She holds certificates for Therapeutic Touch, Usui & Karuna Reiki Master; Reiki Drumming, Crystal Healing; Thai Massage and Tibetan Acupressure System A firm believer in the strength of the human spirit, Lisa sees herself as a partner with her clients on their healing journey; rather than the instrument of their healing.
